AYSO Tournament opportunities

Amana Soccer Slam Area Tournament
This is a small sided co-ed tournament held in June in Amana, Iowa open to all AYSO players in Area 6E.  The tournament is 6v6 with a maximum of 8 players per team, and has divisions in the 8U through 19U divisions.  There are restrictions on team formation.  For additional information, visit www.ayso1103.org, or contact the region directly with additional questions at [email protected].

Dubuque Soccer Fest Area Tournament
This is a full sided tournament held the last weekend of June held in Dubuque Iowa, open to  teams from Area 6E with the approval of the Regional Commissioner.  Divisions are offered in the 10U through 19U divisions.  14U and 19U divisions are co-ed.  Teams interested in participating should contact their home region for approval to participate.  Additional information can be found at www.dubuqueayso.org.

Section 6 Sectional Games
This is a full sided tournament held in Libertyville Illinois in mid June, open to  teams from Section 6.  Divisions are offered from 10U through 19U, gender separate.  Teams interested in participating should contact their home region for additional information.


National Games (2019)
The AYSO National Games will be held in Hawaii in 2019.  Bids for participation have already been finalized.  The next National Games will be held in 2021 with bids being extended in 2020.  The location is yet to be determined.  Teams interested in participating should be working with their home region regarding bid submission.


Non - AYSO Tournament opportunities

Iowa Games Tournament
The Iowa Games tournament is a full sided gender separate tournament in mid July in Ames, Iowa.  This is a NON-AYSO tournament.  Teams may work with their region to generate a full roster, or may register independent.  Visit the Iowa Games website for additional information.

State Games of America
The State Games of America is held every two years in August.  The 2019 State Games will be held in Virginia.  Teams may be accepted at large, but in general must qualify by finishing in the top three in their division at their respective state games (Iowa Games or Indoor Iowa Games).  The State Games will be held in IOWA in 2021.

Indoor Iowa Games
The Indoor Iowa Games is an indoor soccer tournament held in Dubuque Iowa on the last weekend in January.  This is a NON-AYSO tournament.  Teams may work with their region to generate a roster, or may register independent.  Visit the Iowa Games website for additional information.
